About Young Performers Theatre

Through Theatre in Education and outreach programs, repertory productions, classes and summer camps, YPT helps children build core social-emotional learning skills and sets the stage for success in many fields of endeavor outside of performance. Bringing enrichment programming to schools, child-care facilities and community centers in the Bay Area, with an emphasis on providing a range of options — from classes and workshops to fully staged productions — tailored to the youth-development needs and cultural identities of the institutions served.
