The Hong Kong Children’s Choir (HKCC), founded in 1969, is the first and largest children’s choir in Hong Kong with around 5,000 members. Registered as a non-profit-making charitable organization, HKCC has grown into a diversified arts organization.

Philosophy
How they teach
HKCC organizes numerous concerts and performances annually, allowing members to share their love for the arts with the community. In 2019, HKCC presented the “Asia Pacific Choral Summit” which was awarded the 14th HKADC Award for Arts Promotion and the “Hong Kong Choral Conducting Competition” to celebrate its 50th Anniversary.

Lin was educated at the Music Department of Chinese University of Hong Kong and studied piano performance with Prof David Gwilt. After graduation, she was awarded a scholarship to pursue a Music Master’s Degree at the Birmingham Conservatoire in the UK.

Students who are majoring in music or voice and studying at one of the five institutions with a Music Department in Hong Kong, with outstanding academic results and the school’s recommendation, will be qualified as recipients of the scholarship.
