The curriculum is designed to meet the musical needs of all the pupils and provide them with a solid grounding in the history, theory and practical side of music. This includes the study of different styles and genres, theory and composition, singing, keyboard and percussive work.

Since 2018, the music department has been located in a large state-of-the-art facility. The Andrew Halls Music School consists of rehearsal and teaching rooms, a fully equipped recording studio and a 210-seater concert hall which houses a two-manual chamber organ, a harpsichord and a model D Steinway grand piano.
