Whether you’re a musician, musicologist or simply passionate about music and dance, the Conservatoire’s media library is happy to welcome you. The Hector Berlioz media library’s collection comprises 300,000 documents: scores, books, manuscripts, methods, periodicals, documentary files, CDs, DVDs and LPs.

Researchers enrolled at a French or foreign university or higher education institution in a 2nd cycle supérieur, Master Recherche or 3ème cycle supérieur-Doctorat course can also be hosted, depending on the status of the host researcher, as defined on p.13 of the internal regulations.

These instruments are made available for teaching and production purposes, as well as for students’ personal work. Some instruments may also be loaned for competitions, or as part of introductory or optional courses offered by the Conservatoire’s various departments.
